Chevening is the UK government’s universal grants program pointed at creating worldwide leaders. Funded by the Foreign and Commonwealth Office (FCO) and partner associations, Chevening offers two sorts of grants – Chevening Scholarships and Chevening Fellowships – the beneficiaries of which are personally chosen by the British embassies and high commissions all over the world.

Also this year students will be exempt from the IELTS or TOEFL certificate as the scholarship stated on its official website .

There is no such thing as a ‘typical’ Chevening Scholar, but those who are successful tend to have ambition, leadership qualities, and a strong academic background
1- Having a bachelor’s degree from an accredited university with an average GBA of 2.7 or more
2- Fluency in English
3- Having admission to a British university for a master’s degree
You are not eligible for a Chevening Scholarship if you:
1-Hold refugee status in a non-Chevening qualified nation. Candidates who are citizens of a Chevening-eligible nation and who hold refugee status in a Chevening-eligible nation are qualified for a grant.
2-Hold British or dual British citizenship (unless you are a citizen of a British Overseas Territory or hold BN(O) and are applying from Hong Kong).
3- Have previously studied in the UK with funding from a UK Government-funded scholarship.
This grant is fully funded and will cover the following:
1-health insurance, Living
2-Tuition fees in full
3-Round-trip flight expenses.
4-A monthly stipend to cover living expenses
